About Us
Mecca of Beacons LLC was created to provide exceptional enrichment and leadership development opportunities for youth and community residents. We offer youth an opportunity to create and mold their own unique experiences through our wide range of educational and leadership activities. We see the true power that our youth hold, and we have made it our mission to transform them into natural born leaders, ready to take on the world.
Since moving to Charlotte in 2009, founder Reginald V. Richardson began working in the community while being employed by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School district and Police Department. After ten years of service, Richardson resigned from both positions to assist youth and community residents with upward mobility opportunities thus creating My Brothers House 24 hour residential facility.
